About Us

Mission

RBFN’s mission is to help entrepreneurs build their companies the way they want to, and with the capital most appropriate for them. We aim to do this by building a community of investors and practitioners and by creating connections between them in order to help accelerate knowledge sharing and industry growth. We believe this will lead to a robust ecosystem of new capital options for founders to access and use to grow their companies.

Leadership

Keith Harrington, Founder

Keith is a revenue-based financing investor based in Kansas City. In 2017, Keith was introduced to RBF and then co-founded Novel Capital, a RBF firm investing in B2B companies. To date, Novel has invested in more than 100 companies across the US and Canada. In the process of launching Novel, it became clear that there was an opportunity to identify and connect like-minded investors in what was a fragmented industry.

With the aim of quickly expanding the industry to support more entrepreneurs with new capital options, and with help from the Kauffman Foundation, Keith began building the Revenue-Based Financing Network in 2019 as a way for practitioners to connect more easily and more often in ways that accelerate their learning and advance the state of the industry.

Prior to co-founding Novel Growth Partners, Keith co-founded Fulcrum Global Capital and was a Managing Director at Kansas Bioscience Authority, where he invested in life-sciences startups. Keith is a Kauffman Fellow, earned his MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and his BS in Finance from Park University.
